BASIC DEFINITIONS IN THE FIELD OF GOVERNMENT QUALITY ASSURANCE

 

• Government quality assurance (GQA) is the process which assures performance of product quality contractual requirements;

• The government quality assurance representative (GQAR) is an employee entrusted with a function or an authorized corporate body;

• Supervision over quality is product compliance assessment with contractual requirements;

• The quality audit is an independent, systematic and documented quality assurance system process;

• The office issues the certificate of product quality and integrity if either a manufacturer or a supplier has proved compliance with contractual requirements;

• The office issues the certificate of product quality and integrity if the manufacturer’s or supplier’s quality assurance system is in conformity with contractual requirements;

• The office carries out government quality assurance either at the producer’s or the service provider’s based on the customer’s request.
